Over 20 auditionees, 3 rounds, one final A Troupe... Who should have made it in The Next Step season 2?! We saw them do solos, tumble, and attempt the choreo, with some being more successful than others. This video took so long to plan, film, and edit, I hope you enjoy 😅

Also video suggestion if you haven’t already done it : comparing re-used plots like saying which one you prefered and your notes on them. You could use: Heather and Chloe being poor , James and Finn both cheating , James and Kingston both fell behind in their school work and almost got pulled from the studio, West and Summer both dancing with the opposing teams to help them at Regionals and the two times Eldon was double booked etc. Just an idea 💡 xx Love these ranking vids ❤️❤️

"Let's go swinging" has 2 dances (internationals semi-final and Amy & Piper duet) In season 6, there were 3 versions to "Now you got the best" Richelle and Michelle both did solos to "Let's Go" There were 2 dances to "Do what I want" (Richelle's dancemania audition and season 4 group) There were 2 duets to "Summertime" (Max & West in season 3 and Josh & Adam in season 5)

i agree and i think they purposefully did that to keep alex (emily) on the show. she has stated that she isn't a professional dancer like the rest of the cast, so it makes sense that they didn't have her audition this season.

Here are my random thoughts after watching: I think Richelle (James's fan girling tho😂) and Eldon are the best female and male tns dancers. I also feel like Thalia is a pretty underrated dancer.

@@Jamie_Winsh Eldon technique is good, not amazing! Look at Daniel's extensions, control, fluidity and overall technique and look at how stiff Eldon is. Brennan > Isaac Daniel > Eldon Eldon is just the "best" on the show because the producers overrated him a lot with the "best dancer in the studio" thing. Richelle S2 could beat Eldon any day!

I would personally rank Richelle higher in the tumbling audition but that's only because of my own experiences. I can do what Richelle did and I don't know if I've ever seen someone execute it that perfectly with that much power to the point where she's facing upwards before landing.

I think richelles auditions in season 2 and 3 both proved she’s one of the strongers dancers there in terms of skill and technique however if i were kate, i still wouldn’t have put her on the team until s4. she was just too small and would have to have been featured in every dance or be an alternate, and there’s no point adding a dancer for the sole person of them being an alternate.

With this new A troupe for season 2, I think the plot points would have been really interesting to see, yes the whole Amanda drama wouldn't have happened. But with James not on A troupe he probably would have been on B troupe and therefore spent more time with Beth and as such would have made the whole cheating drama more intense as Riley wouldn't have been happy with James and Beth both being together on B troupe, so the betrayal is made worse. Also would be interesting to see who you would pick as the alternate for when Emily gets injured as they would have an extra dancer for the finals routine. Also I think Michelle probably would have got back with Hunter as with no Amanda there then she wouldn't have recorded the dance battle between Hunter and Eldon, so Michelle probably wouldn't have found out. Just some of the ideas how things would be different in Season 2, with your new A troupe. Also love your videos, I cant wait to see what you make next :)

Haven’t watched your comments yet; but one of the things that annoyed me about Richelles audition was the handstand to back bend at the end. It was good, but she crumbled at the very end of it and that’s always been the biggest thing that stuck out to me.

True! I think for her age though and level, and the fact it was her final move, it is more excusable for me. It also gave me a feeling of 'she's still human after all that' and I saw her switch from her audition face to just being richelle again, which I liked because ultimately that's what they should do! I think the vast majority of her audition spoke well enough for that crumple to not matter in terms of her rankings (in your opinion anyway 😊)
