I can't believe Olivia Rodrigo inspired me to edit Voltron again. Her power knows no bounds.
I started this, like...the week after the song came out? But got frustrated and tired while collecting fanart and then got overwhelmed with life and never ended up continuing it. And then the a few days ago I was listening to this song and basically all my inspiration came back at once, and voila! It's actually done. I'm pretty happy with it, I think it's a fun video. Not overly complicated but not overly simple, either. Hopefully you guys enjoy it?
Also, I will be perfectly honest, any clips I used from S7 or S8 I literally have no idea what the in-show context is. I downloaded the last two seasons specifically for this video and just looked for the Klance scenes I knew existed and slapped them in there. I think at some point I will honestly rewatch the show front-to-back cause I'm so curious at this point, but that day has not yet come LMAO.

I believe clips are a bit desaturated and upped on contrast; that makes them look a bit more like art since most pieces have higher contrast and desaturated colors. Thus, it looks more seamless.

Agreed now I love every (almost) episode to varying degrees. Cause yeah it was good and I loved Keith’s story about being part Galra but I just wish they would have planned things out a bit better. Also when Pidge told everyone she was a girl and they were mostly surprised and they just never mention it again…like nothing changed and that always felt weird. And then theirs the Lance x Allora, which don’t get me wrong I don’t hate it but I adore the au’s where their siblings instead, she just always felt like more of a sister to me. I wish klance was canon but they probably would have messed up something or barley have it like korra and Asami for LOK

Don’t mean to press, this is good enough quality content to last for years, but does this mean you might work on those unfinished projects from 2018? There were some real bangers in there and mixed in with the beautiful animation from later seasons might just push them over to the god tier category! Dw that's a totally valid question!! The answer is: .......maybe?? I won't be doing anything unless/until I do a full rewatch but there is definitely a non-zero chance of that happening at this point haha! Also I agree, I forgot how MARVELOUS the animation was until I was looking through footage yesterday for this video and my jaw dropped to the floor. As of right now the only video from 2018 I think I'd finish would be Lions Inside, but I have a few ideas in mind if I'm being honest because I DESPERATELY want to edit with the Keith/Shiro fight scene from s6, holy shit. TL;DR: maybe!!

I really wish they'd go back and remake Voltron the way they originally planned... Shiro was going to die and Keith wasn't going to leave. I want to see what that Voltron would have been like. I like Shiro, but I'd rather have Klance be canon like it seemed it was going to be.
