As someone who has only ridden horses a few times, I can confirm that riding is not a passive skill. Your core gets quite the workout, especially going up and down hills. Not to mention the workout your thighs get trying to stay on. Every time I got off my legs felt like jello. And the point of dressage is for the horse to look like it's doing all the work when in reality, there are a lot of subtle commands given by the rider that the average Joe will miss. Yes, the horse is an athlete for doing the "horse dancing." And jumping. And racing in the Kentucky Derby. And barrel racing. But the rider is just as much an athlete for being able to stay on the whole time.

They should, of course, credit all the comedians involved in the particular video, rather than using this generic credit. It's lazy, but it's not the sexism that you're implying.
