I agree with you. In Indian philosophies only you can find the origins and the formation of god. If you study the ancient Vedic philosophy (such as simple polytheism) which shows the primary kind concept of God a you can study the way that it have been evolved through out the years. Western traditions shows only some set of evolved polytheistic and monotheistic gods not the origins and how it evolved through out the years . So there can be an influence over the the Western philosophy by the Indian philosophy. Love from Sri Lanka.

Augustine's Philosophy is just a platter of fanciful vocabularies, repeating only what Plato said. The Scholastic approach to the Platonic Idealism is akin to the Brahmanical approach to the Vedas. Here genuine dialogue becomes more about conjuring new vocabularies of sophistication and complexity, thereby obscuring the simple truth of the Vedanta or the Platonic Idealism. No wonder it is called the "dark ages"!!
