Me and my Rackbrute 3U are watching this video licking our collective chops. Nice work! All I wanted to do was relocate the PSU module to free up 4hp and heaven help us, I found this video.

Haha, mine is a little unconventional and destructive, ie, drilling holes. Molten music modular does the same but non destructively. He just velcros the power board to the back. Good luck!

@@tinkererofthings I think yours is the way. My biggest concern is airspace collisions inside...seems like a lot of consideration & research for module depth is required to pull this off.
@tinkererofthingsАй бұрын
@@impulsecouplingShallow modules there. I can fit 25mm modules there if I remember correctly. You could fit deeper ones if you velcro it to the back, maybe 30mm. Many digital modules are 22-25mm: ALM, Klavis, mutable, new bastl stuff, etc. And of course, measure twice.

YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THAT IT LOOKS SO COOL! WAY TO GO!

Thank you, man!!! pleased someone else likes it! It was a lot of fun to build. Kept me focused for a few months.

Now you just need to build a second one and double up. I actually think it looks cooler than the other case you mentioned - kind of reminds me of some of the Buchla cases. You never know I might grab one of those and give this a try.

@@patricklundeen Buchla! No more complementary comment! I like that this rack limits my ability to buy more modules. I must be constrained!

Very cool! How do you remove the red ring/link connectors on the sides of the cases?
@tinkererofthings Жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you. Didn't have to remove them. Just removed the fake wood side that have those rings embedded in them. But, having looked inside, there is a bolt holding the red ring bolt. Should be able to just loosen that off and it will come out.
