Good work on this podcast! Some really good discussion points. To the pvp discussion -- for me I didn't get into pvp until after the removal of free trade. It was pvp worlds with loot potential. Was kind of a neat concept but sitting around for awhile to get potential was boring. After that it became bounty hunter (that arena in the wild) which was a lot of fun. The problem I run into now, is there isn't an easy way for me to learn the meta's or get access to those types of accounts. I haven't tried the new pvp arena stuff so maybe that has solved some of it. What I do experience is if I try to pk I get absolutely rekt by people who are probably doing only pvp. With next to 0 experience it just feels really brutal to get into. Surely it wasn't this intense before.

For the part of the video that talks about med levels and how to guide them.. I think the most under rated thing for med levels is joining a clan. There are a lot of clans out there that are happy to take on med levels and guide them into PVM that is around their level. I've been teaching so many people TOA over the past week who were in really low level gear and they had a ton of fun. I've also shown people tons of other PVM/skilling content too. I've seen people do their first boss trip at KBD who have then gone on to do CM COX. It's a great feeling :)

About that disconnect between lower and high level players is hard to find common ground like mint said. My accounts been pretty much max melees since a year after 07 release. My best way so far has been to go for 70-70-70 then go duo venenatis both in verak while I tank, they get some kills while I eat and their verak procs, we have a good time and the next thing they want piety,they want to quest and then I'll tank zammy or bandos. Alot of them end out teaching me a thing or to here and there. Beautiful game we have

48:52 on the topic of med level bosses, and raiksey also mentioned that he didnt know what to tell someone who was looking for that "next step" after barrows, I think a kind of "stepping stone" guide or add-on needs to be added for just that reason. A new player who's just starting out really has no idea how to get to that point where they have a decent bank to the point where they can start buying gear to efficiently farm a boss or a raid. Sure a easy answer is farm zulrah, but getting the gear/stats that you need to efficiently kill the boss without like 4 minute kills takes a good amount of research and understanding to figure out, and thats before you even start killing the thing. If I didnt play the game in the past when I was a kid, it would be very very confusing. And the amount of shit I had to wiki, that should have just been told to you in the game, was insane. Even to this day.

@ 1hour 26 If a team comes in with zaryte crossbows and sapphire bolts, it does not matter what your hp/prayer are at You could be 1 hp 99 prayer, and so long as there are enough sapphire bolt procs which hit you, your prayer is guaranteed to drop to 0 The ONLY "counter" is to see their smite attempt coming, and have your own team kill you before you're hit. Or bring a divine potion + locator orb and same tic them to kill yourself. But if the hit comes out of nowhere, there is literally 0 counterplay. As a solo player, I still like the idea of a large team being able to dominate in this way. The issue is with the only "counter" being suicide (assuming it's a spear into zcb hit, and not a surprise)

How about a mid game boss that requires a strong tank. Maybe even the use of healing by teammates, and a task the tank has to perform which makes it difficult to attack the boss. The boss would do high damage, and have lower defense. This could be a fun way for someone in the mid game to boss/do dps, while needing a high level friend to tank who wants to do stuff with friends or get people back into the game. Like a tougher/more engaging Bandos.. Also any increase in lore in the game is always a good thing:) PS Bring back partner slayer!
