Mine also has alignment issue. I put rolled up tissue inside the blaster to raise the barrel instead because i can't push the cage deeper. Works a lot better now. Doesn't fart out darts anymore.

Nice work! Im definitly looking to do this mod. I haven't got one of these in my hands yet but i suspect ill have to rework the pistol grip with something a little more beefy. I have a busted apollo that i might take the grip from and plug the bottom mag hole.

Just did this conversion last night using GqvinFuzzy's kit with stock wheels + Fangs. Just under 130 fps which will be perfect for HvZ games. Still need a better grip for this blaster.

I look at mods like this and ask myself "is it worth the effort and expense?". Your replacing the guts of a blaster, changing it's basic properties, and what you end up with is performance that can be equalled by existing products. My guess is that, like in many hobbies, sometime in the future, Nerf collectors will be looking for the rarer blasters in stock form. Ultra are produced in smaller numbers than most, so may be worth keeping hold of.

I really like the look of this gun and the rear loading aspect so I wanted to pick one up, but the ultra darts were a turn-off. I can't do all the rewiring but at least I can see how easy it is to make them .50 cal compatible, thank you :D

Are there 3D models for the elite conversion barrels? I am not looking for flywheel improvement, I just want to fire elite darts, and most packages don't ship to turkey, so printing it would be much easier. Thanks.

Great vid! I am trying to improve accuracy without too much work ... do you know if someone is selling barrel inserts for the Nerf Ultra 2? I tried making a smoother barrel lining using rolled up cellophane ... and it works great, until the cellophane starts losing its tight curl. I saw Elite mods for Ultra 2 have a reduced caliber barrel liner - can I get one that is just big enough for actual Ultra darts?

Yes you will need to buy a new flywheels and motors. You should always do this when upgrading to a new cage but in this case the stock motors and flywheels won't even fit with this mod.

How stable is the grip after removing so much supporting plastic and screw posts?

Very stable. The post that I removed wasn't an actual screw post. All screw posts that hold the grip together remained.

Too much FF. You're doing a step by step mod video! People need to see EVERYTHING you're doing! Let the viewer FF through parts that they don't need to watch at normal speed. When you FF or time delay parts makes it near impossible to follow.
