MOD IN PROGRESS: Westinghouse/DC Traction Elevators at Patterson Office Tower, UofKY, Lexington, KY

These are some pretty interesting and fast elevators which judging by the keyhole location on the doors, these were originally Westinghouse. Then they were modernized by some Unknown Generic Company with Innovation Decorator fixtures, and at the time this was recorded, these elevators were in the process of being modernized AGAIN by DC Elevator with Innovation Prestige fixtures. Despite what I said in the video, the voices on the recently modded elevator and the elevator original from it's 90s-2000s mod were different, however they were both VERY INTERESTING and I've never heard either voice before! Not even on another KZbin elevator video! It's definitely unfortunately the "Grandpa Voice" or whatever you want to call it on the elevator with Decorator fixtures is going, but at least the newly modded elevators have an interesting voice as well! That said, even though the newly modded DC Elevators talk, and that they appear to have kept the speed the same with the mod, I do question why these got modded again as the older ones seen here were working just fine and were perfectly fast and smooth, albeit a bit dated looking. The New mod is relatively decent, but some of the original Westy features that were remaining from the first mod such as the lanterns and motor noises are gone.
Overall, these were definitely pretty interesting elevators, and I'm glad I got them when I did. I do apologize if my video isn't the best in terms of stabilization, this is why I recently replaced my camera with a Handycam, but I still hope you enjoy it nonetheless and I hope this video is good enough.

Modernized:
1st Modernization: Circa 1990s or Early 2000s (Unknown Generic Company with Innovation Decorator fixtures, New Controllers, New Cabs and New Call Stations. Motors, Doors and Lanterns appear to be left original.)
2nd Modernization: 2019 (DC Elevator with New Motors and New Controllers, Innovation Prestige fixtures, New Lanterns, etc. Only the cabs and doors remain original from the previous mod.)

Innovation Decorator PB 4 to Prestige PB 35. Interesting!! I think the NEW ones are ALREADY WINNING!! Like the Murphy's. Montgomery probably did the 1st Mod typical MAC door Interlock click, Operator, Motor ballist, Older Innovation Decorator. That definitely sounds like a Monty Mod

I have heard both voices before, but only a couple times. The older 1's actually a male version of the voice that used to be on the Hilton Atlanta (funny, because it's by the Marriott Marquis that actually had a male voice), & I think the newer 1's the male version of the CE Electronics voice, although I'm not 100% sure.
