[Mod] Jumping in Deepest Sword!

Where do you extract the BepInEx folder??? I copied it in the plugins folder. It still won't work.. Is it fixed or what..

You have to extract the BepInEx folder in the game's directory (where DeepestSword.exe is) The specific instructions are on github.com/FlooferLand/DeepestSwordMods (scroll down)

i downloaded the bepInEx and i dont have the "plugins" thing, what do i do

you run the game, its in the instructions xD you can just immediately close it after BepInEx needs to run at least once so it can generate all the folders and files

you just, hold space XD Or W The longer you hold the higher you jump (to a limit)

@@FlooferLand sorry for bugging again, but the link you gave in the git to bepinex doesnt work or have a plugins folder, can you explain a bit?

​@@nikx1513 It's fine XD. I'm very confused now. The link to BepInEx should work. You have to download "BepInEx_x64_5.4.19.0.zip" if you're on Windows 64-bit, then extract the zip in the folder where Deepest Sword is installed. You can then launch the game once to initialize BepInEx (that should make the plugins folder appear in the BepInEx folder). PS: I'm gonna be off KZbin for a few hours, so if you need additional help feel free to DM me or ping me on the official Deepest Sword discord.

It's so people don't cheat in speedruns since Jump Mod isn't a speedrun category. It's also to prevent people from getting Steam achievements that they couldn't get without the Jump mod. It's not that hard to remove it, but i don't really wanna help people remove it as it could lead to a bunch of people cheating XD If you need to see your time you can just subtract 1000 from the end screen time

@@acka-g6059 Sorry for the late reply, it's part of the mod itself as an anti-cheat feature. You can just compile the mod yourself (instructions are on the page) and remove the "__instance._playtime = 60000;" line at the very end of Plugin.cs to get rid of it. But i don't see how it would annoy people as the time still gets calculated correctly. You just have to subtract 1000 from the end time to get your actual time

I have the instructions on the Github page, it's not that hard. I'm genuinely not sure why people get confused and/or stuck I've gotten like 3 different comments asking for help. I'm surprised if the mod still works with the latest versions of the game though ngl since I made this like 2 years ago xD
