I think a lot of you need to grow up and appreciate that she's doing the video and trying to teach you something. You see what the product is why do you have to be so mean. It's a good tutorial and behave yourselves. If you don't have anything nice to say then be quite. If you think you can do better, then do one yourself & hope & pray nobody does the same to you...

Oh my word... I can not believe the rudeness coming from these viewers!!! I have never known mispronouncing a word could bring so many "adults" to the brink of hostility as what I have sat here and read!!! Rather than beat this lady in the ground, why don't the lot of you find a class on HOW TO BE KIND, and apply it to your lives. This is absolutely nothing short of a childs behavior...and you call yourselves adults? This video was very easy to follow and extremely helpful. Please ignore the rude remarks coming from these children and make more videos!!

Hay just a tip with the left over glazes. You can wrap that pallet in plastic wrap and it will keep nice for some time. I have also see people use those pill organizers with the snap down lids to make their paints last longer. :) Enjoyed the video. Great tip about the glitter!

In our country we call it MODGE PODGE . . . like Shakespeare said : ' A Rose by any other name would smell as sweet!' ;-)
@Dragoness259 жыл бұрын
So this is for everyone who has had something to say about the name, This product was called MODGE PODGE long before it was called MOD PODGE it also wasn't always on the market for the everyday crafter, when they decided to market it for the everyday crafter it was called MOD PODGE ,so if you haven't heard it being called this then it just means you haven't been in the Arts and Craft world for as long as you think you have...

I have been doing this for years, but never thought to do a tutorial about it. You explain way better than I do anyway. If you mix glitter with glue the glitter tends to sit at the bottom of the container after awhile and you need to give it a good shake before using it. Great tutorial sweetie! New subbie here for you!

I'm a HUGE crafter. I do everything from 60k weddings to hair bows. I say Eeeetsy even tho I KNOW it's Etsy & I say MODGE PODGE even tho I KNOW it's MOD. WHO GIVES A FLIP, OH, BESIDES YOU 3 SNOBS!? SERIOUSLY. ..IDK IF YA KNEW BUT LIFE IS SHORT, GET ONE & BE NICE FFS!!! I pronounce LOTS of words wronge bc that's my thing. I also have a genius level IQ and I'm soopa doopa happy.....& I'm sad you're not. I know you're not bc happy people don't bully or talk bad about people. True story! Cheer up!(:

I love the glitter mixed with Mod Podge idea, but I thought this would be a great idea to cover recycled DVDs for a wind mobile. It didn't cover the plastic evenly and with the label off the DVD it showed opaque spots on the reverse side. Can you give me any suggestions on how to use the MP-Glitter mixture. It's much cheaper than using glitter nail polish because I have about 200 circular discs to cover. Thank you for your help.

Hi so great of you to share these wonderful tips. I want to glitter my patent leather Birkenstock sandals; done it twice and it peels off. Do you know which of the MP glaze components would be the most tenacious for a slippery surface such as this? I love these shoes but the patent shows wear. They look great now but I leave a trail of glitter wherever I go ... not appreciated by friends!

I'd use the most common one sold which is gloss, it gives a nice glazed/shiny look compared to the matte those are the two most common the other ones are washable, which is best with kids, photo transfer and tinted colors as well as high gloss.

would the glaze u made work for stenciling on canvas? i made the frames myself, stretched a piece of painters canvas drop cloth from Lowes and painted canvas with two coats of sheepskin chalk paint ...please reply i dont want to mess this up!
@Fg4e8 жыл бұрын
+im4coupons I do watercolor painting on canvas along with other art. When prepping a canvas I have always been taught to use 3 coats of Gesso before you do anything with it. This is to insure that the paint will not soak through to the backside of the canvas. I have not used sheepskin chalk paint before so, it would seriously depend on how waterproof it is, since the Mod Podge is a water based product. Depending on what you plan on doing with the canvas after you stencil it you might consider doing a clear coat of fixative spray 1st or clear Gesso before you move on. That way you do not ruin the chalk paint with the stenciling. Read that packaging on the chalk paint. It might say something for you there, it might give you a contact website too. And just a tip from experience- use a nice thick stencil... even more so with the glaze that has the glitter. Makes the lifting off of the stencil from the glaze easier and the end result much neater. Hope this helps!
