Matt this is beautiful. It's exactly the cut I was trying to achieve on my doll head but couldn't quite get it right. I love the layering but didn't want the mullet look towards the back and ends. I've been asking for this from my hairdresser for ages! He always does the same "layered bowl," lifting the hair straight up & cutting straight across. I want more slant, depth to the layers, more distance between top layers & bottom. Arghhh! I need a new stylist to do this for me!!

how do I ask for this haircut , convey the style correctly, without having to ask them to watch the video? I have a hard time even showing my hairdresser photos let alone asking her to watch a video. This isn't unique to my current hair dresser, they all seem to "know" what you're asking for when you show them a photo, but they never do. I want her to see the detail though, so that she mimics the layering and exact style.

Many hairstylists just lack creativity, which is essential for a haircut like this. I was lucky to have found one in Holland, but then I moved to Germany and they don’t know what I mean, even though they say so.

Very FEW people have as good of hair as this doll head, and more importantly very few customers can afford the $150 custom work of this level of a cutter! He makes it look easy. But if you’re willing to pay it sounds like he has a locator website he mentions at the end. Celebrities and fashionistas will pay for that top notch work...will you?

Without seeing your hair I would say yes because this cut isn't layered at the crown and the majority of the weight is pushed back to the crown. So in theory this should be a good cut for you.
