Take what I say with a grain of salt, because I don't make for markets. One way to use up your scraps and make smalls might be to make little monsters. They don't have to be any certain character, just use your imagination. You could even call them "Emotional Support Monsters". or something like that. I am in awe of all that you can make and I really enjoy all your videos. You are really a good source of inspiration, and also I feel like I'm sitting with a friend when watching you. Thanks for sharing what you do.

I am crocheting vicariously through you! My hubby was kind enough to share his flu germ with me. I have not touched yarn in the past 4 days and usually crochet everyday. This is the first day I have even watched anything, so maybe I’m on the downhill side of this. Love the minions. I’m not a”cartoon” person either, but I did enjoy Despicable Me.

Old mom trick is put tape over the speakers so it muffles it down. more tape more the muffle.

I found the volume control, but taping the speaker (if I can find that) is a good idea!

I make my eyes by needle felting them on. You can use acrylic yarn by brushing it with a metal dog or cat brush. There are a few tutorials on KZbin to do this. You just have to buy a felting needle. Hope this helps! 😊

It's funny a friend sent me a list of minion characters with names and photos. They all look the same to me except for some have 1 eye and some have 2 🤣. Not sure about wild but it may be interesting, I'm hoping the other vendors don't throw me out 🤣🤣🤣

I cut the cord that made the music on the crane game because the sounds were so obnoxious. I love your land tortoise! I have made tons of sea turtles but the land ones is on my to do list. I love how you just go for whatever you want to make. I am in the process of making for our local rodeo. I've got 200 more items to make in the next 50 days to make sure I have enough inventory. I like the black band and the overalls on the first Minion you made different. I don't like the crochet chain stitch because it seems to floof up and not be flat. The Just yarn looks very flat -- but is too thin.

OMG I give you credit putting that thing together, I hate putting stuff together!! I love the same turtle as you! FYI, have you tried the tofu turtle pattern? It's a no sew land turtle. You stitch in the head and the legs are a treble bobble stitch. I love this pattern. I made some with Bernat baby blanket so they are a decent size. I did make one with parfait and it is small but it may be worth for your smaller items. I just think the pattern is awesome and works up pretty quick. Which sea turtle pattern are you using? I'm trying to find a relatively quick one...

I'm using All From Jade's sea turtle pattern. She came out with the leg mod after I bought the pattern so I'm not sure if it automatically comes with the pattern or not. I do the front legs to 24 stitches and the back to 18 stitches and attach with the same instructions she gives for her style legs. That machine was a beast to put together 🤣

How do you like your plastic yarn cubbies behind you? I’m looking for yarn storage ideas and am considering cubbies like that. Are they sturdy? Ample storage space?

They are pretty sturdy, Storage would depend on how much yarn you have, I can fit 9 with 3 laying long ways behind them of parfait chunky, 4 bernat, and 4 sweet snuggles or home slim per cube, If you are going for looks they are perfect. They are also good for sorting your colors.
