I lived in Germany for 4 years and barely cared to learn. Randomly got ambition to for my vacation in a couple months and dedicate about 4 hours every day to learning German as well as fall asleep listening to A1 level conversations in my headphones 😂. I’ll stay on duo lingo until there’s a concept I don’t understand and come to your channel which helps clear EVERYTHING they miss up. You are a godsend. Vielen Dank Andrew! Bist du ein Maler? :) Yes my sentence structure video is due already for a long time its just not right yet I think. anyway I hope soon. But just little quick: the most important thing when it comes to sentence structure is what I also showed in this video: The conjugated verb is always on 2nd position in Hauptsatz (main clause) and on last position in Nebensatz (clause). subject is either before or after the verb. when it comes to the first position you are very flexible. But like in english the SVO (subject verb object) structure also applies in German. hope this helps until i got this video ready! ;)
