Isn't it actually a bit sad that we have amazing mods like ElSopa's Potions, but then when it comes to alcohol, it's all just mere retextures? I know retextures are no joke, it's hard work, I do it too and it's great, but when we have ElSopa's Potions...Well, we gotta increase our quality tolerance. It would be great to have some kind of mod that changes every alcohol in the game, from meads to wines and even those in the Creation Club, with unique models and textures. Just imagine being able to drink mead while you can see the liquid inside, it would be great! Or have wine bottles with intricate design and a clearly red or white wine liquid. Anyway, for my case, I like to use "Skyland Animated Mead and Ale Bottles".

9:14 "Over hundreeds of hours playing, NOT MODDING". Let's be real here, modding skyrim IS playing skyrim. Since 2011 I've a collective of 5000 hours in Skyrim. I don't even want to think how much more I have spent in CK and on nexus, fiddling around new stuff, making something, tweaking another things just to see what would happen, and in that, there's it's own reward, it's own, pleasure i would say? I said it last time, and I'll say it again, every new video you make is an improvement of a previous one and I for one am really curious where you'll be in a year or so let's say. There are a lot of other content creators out there who are active, and they are good, but somehow they lack that something that makes you much more interesting, and that something is how fast of an improvement in videos you're making, while also not degrading on other aspects either, like being informative, creative and generally pleasant to watch. You should definitely consider opening donations for your work, maybe on patreon, as I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people who might want to support you. Keep nailing it, you're doing very well and I for one believe that you'll go a lot further :) EDIT: nvm, just noticed that you actually have patreon, happens. Since that's the case, you've got yourself a new supporter.

If I can voice a couple recommendations, MultiLayer Parallax Soul Gems also looks amazing, the parallax effect really makes them look like there is essence within them. And Rens HD Shrines are good competition to JS Shrines, I personally like the colour options Rens has.

the thing I've noticed about all the texture overhauls; it just makes textures darker and covered in dirt making them kinda a mess visually, or wraps some ill fitting stock photo to the mesh... like props for the project youre trying here, its interesting, but the vanilla textures for SE work fairly fine. Oof, and the hodgepodge of mesh replacers sorta just... dont feel like they fit, even in context of extended ES games styles. >.

@@BardsCollegeGraduate Thank you for the reply, what I mean, is that he didnt model those objects, also didnt optimize them in any shape or form (intriguing to say the least, any Blender user could do that in MINUTES) they use a ton of useless geometry, bloating everyone's game for no reason, (making your CPU's do pointless calculations, therefore decreasing FPSs in heavily modded games) even after it was mentioned to him multiple times. I dont think its a good practice at all...

The smoke mods to me are silly, because in real life, charcoal produces very little smoke. The vanilla smoke effects are actually very realistic.

Thanks for these beautifully assorted tips! They can get a bit intimidating for me otherwise. Now I enjoy more little details while I'm looting (ogling at candles) or resting at taverns (touching food and getting yelled at or accidently eating roasted skeever meat while looking at it too close). Also, the apples are massive! It's bigger than a dunmer's head! Now it has more texture than a dunmer head.
