PLEASE WATCH PREVIOUS VIDEO kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmqlhoCGmbOsb9U to understand why i am doing this. The new mids/highs will be mounted to the door in custom pods, and this is basically a big speaker grill. I really wanted to finish the panels before making this video but i changed my mind on a few things a few too many times. I originally had acrylic but I REALLY wanted to have aluminum trim rings to offset the black/black and match the tone of the metal door handle. I wanted the suede to match the suede up on the top portion. I am trying to make it looks like it kinda belongs. Hopefully i will have the tweeter pods done and the rest of the mids/highs in. Catch daily updates here in the meantime >> instagram.com/meade916 thanks for watching if you did!

NICE!! The trim rings give the entire thing a OEM look & feel.
@meade9163 жыл бұрын
that was the goal. I actually have some rings i made of ABS and shot them with an aluminum color'ed paint. I didn't expect the paint to look like metal, i just expected it to look clean. It did. But it just wasn't right...i really wanted the real thing. So i scored some! (1/4" flat stock) :) thanks Rich!

@meade9163 жыл бұрын
it isn't too thin. It looks better like this than it would be in the tumbler. Or i would have tumbled it. Right now, it looks how i wanted it too look. Not too dull, not too shiny. Almost like a stainless look, like the door handle. Thanks Justin! :)

? I have a 2019 tahoe with 2 CVX kicker 12” and a hi-phonics Brutus 3200 or 3400 . With a epicenter. How do I keep my lights from dimming . My amp not even turned up pass the half way mark
@meade9163 жыл бұрын
look for a bigger alternator. As for the "amp not turned up pass the halfway part" what does that even mean? Take it directly to a shop and have them set your gain correctly. A gain is not a volume knob.
