No need to do this; just cut a track on the opposite side of the components and add a jumper on the 3.3V & 5V pins...

sorry to say i broke my pin 1 off , i was so angry , i had to get another one , but i just bought board only instead of whole kit ... haven't received yet hopefully won't happen again second time around .. : (

use flux and wick and you will be ok
