I've swam with the girl she mentors! She is one of the fastest swimmers I've met, she swims against girls with both full legs, and places first all the time.

Good enough for what? You need to measure yourself against yourself; are you better than you were a month ago? If you are, that's all you need to know to be proud of your progress.

Waauw , what an amazing person . What a strong personality . Jessica , i wish you all the best in life , which i believe you live to the fullest , despite your terrible handicap . I'm sorry you were given up for adoption , but if that was because of your disability it does not necessarily means that your parents did not love you . Maybe they were poor , or sick , or had problems themselves , and could not cope with more problems . Maybe later when you visit them , if they still live , they will embrace you . That is the real test . Furthermore , if i might add , you are a beautiful woman . All the best Jessica , take care .

Now why wouldn't she be able to go to the regular Olympics? It seems like she would easily be able to compete against fully capable swimmers... I've been curious about that for a while, why some of the paralympic athletes don't also do regular Olympics.
@JeniKayla8 жыл бұрын
Yes, I understand she has a "disability" but I don't think it hinders her in a way she could not compete with "regular people"
@cbernier38 жыл бұрын
why? shed lose by a lot that way.
@KrikitKaos8 жыл бұрын
Do you not watch regular Olympic swimming? Starting with the simple dive into the pool, she'd be left behind immediately. If you think swimmers don't use their lower legs and feet, I'm not sure what you're smoking.
@lb12038 жыл бұрын
Honestly I didn't even think about that... Good point. I don't actually watch the Olympics very often. Surprising, I know.
