@@russellboyle1368 I’ve heard the majority of Model A’s in Australia are convertibles. Something to do with import taxes and how they were shipped. Any truth to this rumor?

Hi Jim , a lot of Model A’s were Four door phaeton’s which came to Aust as knockdown’s and assembled here . I have one four door tourer ,and a two door tourer 180A - also a Victoria 190A along with a Taxicab 135A , so my shed is full . Regards Russell 🚕🦘

Found your channel the other day and subscribed. Beautiful Model A and a beautiful drive. We got over to that side of the hill about a year and a half ago. The June Lake loop is gorgeous. High Plains Drifter was filmed there at Mono Lake. Thanks for posting this.👌

Hi Cal. Thank you for your subscription, greatly appreciate it. We love driving the June Lake Loop as well, try to do it whenever we drive south on 395 if we have the few extra minutes. So many western movies are filmed on the East side of the Sierra's especially around the Lone Pine area. Beautiful scenery for sure. Jim & Lindy

It's great to see you both back.I miss your videos you put out, they are very down home and simple. I don't think I could go that many miles in a day. The areas you can get to are fantastic. Tomorrow, my wife and I are heading to a farm in N.H. that hosts a model A day. It's the 2024 Model A dustoff run. There is supposed to be over 100 A's on sight. Food ,sncks,raffle and such. It's only about 75 miles each way. And you're traveling over 300. That's outstanding. Thanks again for all the work your wife and you put into your adventures. Thx Dean J.
@modelajim19307 ай бұрын
Thank you Dean for your wonderful comment. Out West you have to cover ground to get anywhere, especially here in Nevada. It’s very common to have it be 100 miles between towns/ gas stations. Living right next to the Sierra Nevada mountains makes for a great back yard to play in. Have a good time at your function. 100 model A’s in one place is always a great experience/time! Thanks for coming along for the ride! Jim & Lindy.

Sometimes I reflect back on riding in Dads 31 2 dr, (always in the back cause Uncle Jim rode in the front) and I imagine Dad saying” alright snow, go ahead and melt we ready for some summer.” It got cold in Mi but except for the blizzard of 78, most of the snow was 12-18 inch’s deep after a storm come thru. Beautiful country up 395. Alfredo and I run it up to Reno once to pick up a loom before heading back home , ( Seguin Tx. ) where our plant was . Sure is pretty country up there ❤️👍😃
