May I ask you to explain the word "reasonably"? What kind of feelings do people put in this adverb, i.e. what is implied when one says "The food was reasonably good" or "I've made a reasonably good job"? Is it perfect, or almost perfect, or quite good, or just as usual good, or not very good but OK, or even hardly OK? Maybe the degree of goodness is very sensitive to intonation? I am really confused.

That's a very good question. "Reasonably" usually means something is moderately acceptable or sensible, so it's not the best thing in the world but not the worst either. It's like a way of acknowledging reality; nothing is every perfect. =]
