Apologies for the quality of the voice-over, the background noise was not obvious when the video was made, hopefully it won't spoil things too much! Must do better!!

So pleased I discovered this video. I was considering buying one of these and was concerned whether it was accurate. You demonstrated that it’s worth buying and how it can be considerably improved. Thank you for sharing. 👏👏👍😀

I sometimes think that these type of inexpensive import cast items are best considered more of a casting kit than a finished product. At least the ground surfaces appear to have been done to a reasonably high standard. There’s a certain amount of satisfaction in turning a sows ear into a silk purse.

@@robertpearson8798 It was so cheap it would not have mattered if I had messed it up! Thanks for the comment!!

@@steamworxAbsolutely. Being able to buy something like this cheaply and having the ability to improve it is a significant advantage, especially since it’s already a good part of the way there.

I’m not familiar with this type of angle plate. What are the advantages of using it as opposed to other methods?

A Keates is an easily adjustable angle plate that can hold a range of shapes and sizes accurately and quickly, as shown in the video. Thanks for the comment!
