Nice model. Very similar to the D10 twin. Subbed too. :)

Joe, you have made my day....most of what I have learned (I'm not formally trained as an engineer) is from guys like you, and you are certainly a top teacher ...all the best from a cousin across the pond. ;))

What a gorgeous set up.....engine sounds so sweet. Not seen an economiser on a model steam engine before...wow!! Great craftsmanship, thanks for sharing.👍👍👍

What a nice example of this engine. I have the non reversing version and it easily drove a propeller twice that diameter, in the water and pushing a 1 metre long scale model of the steam tug, Cervia. Nice to see my sticker up on the wall too. Thanks.

love the mounting. Are you going to clad the cylinder?
@modelengineeringadventures9 ай бұрын
it runs so well and i like it the raw the way it is...what do you think?
@paulrayner45149 ай бұрын
It would be nice with some cladding on and a bit of ornamental brass banding to match your economiser, It's a bit of a faff to fit especially round the exhaust ports and the drain cock's but it's worth it. Have a look online and see what others have done, it may make up your mind.
