Yes Diecast Aircraft Jets I totally agree the orange Fokker F28 is a stunning and beautiful model. It is just that they are quite common compared to the same model in airline liveries. So I acquire these orange models when I find them for reasonable prices, and I invest my time and labour to refinish the models into airline liveries using the original Verkuyl model decals from the 1960s and 1970s, as my efforts enhance the values of these models quite significantly.

Hi Noel, very pleased to meet you. I only have owned the CP Air 747 in 1/72 cutaway by Westway models and I have a video on that model here on my channel. Perhaps I can do a more in-depth video on that model but it was not a priority as I thought people would think I am rehashing old material. I will give it some thought though, thank you very kindly for the suggestion.

Another helpful video. Even though I'd like to focus on collecting original, unrestored models, I can't help but be tempted by the occasional basket case. Do you have any favourite KZbin sites or other resources to help the aspiring model restorer?

Hi Eric, although I have not watched it, a very good friend of mine talks about a Flory or Florry Models youtube channel that he says is very good for model restoration tips. It should be easy enough to find, I think the fellow is from the UK.

@@JetFlix Yup, found that channel, and it's good. But almost everything I've found is plastic kit modeling. Bit more luck in model cars, where there's more metal. Now THERE'S an idea for your next book... or video series. Maybe I should just shut-up and post my own videos, when I figure out my DC-4. 😃
