I have ;added to my layout, four times like this, one for a yard, another for two industries, and two for cows and horses.

Nice to see you creating a new project! I hope to see it in use in the naar future. I wondered immediately why you choose a paralellogram. The blunt corner at the " roomside" i can onderstand. But a slightly broader rond head would have left you with no sharp edges to bump. And the inner angel is now sharp. Leaving no space to manoeuvre as an operator, as it is too small. If the edge was straight or even slightly trapezoid, the space was not lost, but available for scenery as in your aerial view of the prototype: to split this yard/ interchange from the main yard. Just an idea... but sincerely looking forward to your next video!

At time 11:29.. If you have a heat gun, it would be very easy to make the front section of plexiglass 1 PC simple screw new section told part of layout, apply heat to plexiglass at the bend then form it to new section of layout and you would have no seam..😊

Nicely done! Thank you Ron!

7:28 I do the same, idk why people take off the ties, this is much easier.

What they say is that this will create a hump, but the "hump" spreads out over a wide distance and is so small as to be inconsequential anyway.

Good job, Ron. Which reminds me, I need to add some clear plexiglass in spots on my layout...

That's a good idea extending it out for a little bigger interchange.Might do this on my layout.I have an industry that I'd like to make a little bigger.

Nice addition to the layout. I have 3 interchange points on my layout which helps with moving cars around and provides great purpose to the layout
@RonsTrainsNThingsКүн бұрын
Yes, interchange is huge for ops. I have 3 as well.

Is that one of the Saginaw grain elevators I see?
@RonsTrainsNThings2 күн бұрын
Yes, Attenury Grain on the south end of North Yard. Not one of the big ones. I have one of those across the aisle.

Nice Video Ron. Where did you get the Plexi?
@RonsTrainsNThings2 күн бұрын
Hi Mike. I purchased this at a local shop that does picture framing, but I have also bought it in a variety of sizes at Lowe's.
@troy.peters2 күн бұрын
If you just want small pieces there are lots of picture frame options at the dollar store.

Very nice, any room for a yard building, etc.?
@RonsTrainsNThings2 күн бұрын
There will be a small yard office and a boxcar storage shed.
@jasonhowe16972 күн бұрын
would o been been better to follow the track around it curve to do a east weast where you c enter the yard at both ends
@RonsTrainsNThings2 күн бұрын
The only way to do that prototypically here would be to extend it across the aisle and across the room.

Hey Ron, Is there a reason that you use Tracksetta to set your curves over Ribbon-Rail? Both appear to be available in both HO and N scale.

Nice idea. So what is the total amount of cars that will fit there now? From 8 to ???
@RonsTrainsNThings2 күн бұрын
21-24 depending on car size.
