They are nice kits. I scratch built my own Partick Tenement and you can see a series of videos on my channel. I learned a lot in the process and made some mistakes. I am in the process of building some low relief ones using different materials. I also recently built the “Flats” that cane with the Hornby Magazine, I used UHU glue but that was pretty messy and I experienced a bit of warping and wouldn’t recommend using that glue. I built the Tenement as I am trying to move to architecture reminiscent of Glasgow Looking forward to your progress Cheers

@@charlie1872 Thanks for the kind words! I really do like the Metcalfe kits. I'm fairly new to Model Railways, but I am an obsessive now. Scratch Building is another level, and I love the idea of Partick Tenement buildings. I'm going to spend some time on your channel for tips I think! Drawing into central station from the south is great inspiration for me, but unfortunately when I go in to the city tomorrow my line is being serviced by a bus 😩 Very kind words, and much appreciated.
