It is a surprisingly long process, but one I love! I like doing the reasearch too, finding out how to make things like repurposing old wire into trees and car wash sponges into bushes! There is a lot more to come too. The second video has been shot and will live on Friday. Working on the third one right now! Cheers, Andy

Just to comment on the golf course area, I think it's an unusual and interesting idea, but there's only one hole! Perhaps you could add an elevated walkway over the tracks that leads into the back scene, and paint on some trees to delineate a path that appears to lead to the next hole? I imagine you are already planning to add a flag at the hole and a more obvious tee area. I've seen a couple of your other videos and the concept is very appealing. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for your comments. I would love to do a bigger 'scene' but it would take up too much room. I wanted either a golf scene or cricket scene. Cricket would have been easier and more contained, but I couldn't get cricketers in the right scale in NZ, but HO golfers were available! Also the corner where the course currently is, that will be subject to a rather radical change soon. ;) (Thats why no back scenes are in place yet) I have the golfers and flag to go in place. I have another couple of videos to make then I will do a final kind of sum up of whats been happening. Hopefully all will become clear! Thanks for watching. Cheers, Andy

Looks like you have everything you need to keep you busy for a while. Interesting that you appear to have used the foam (Panels) for your table top. How has that been to work with? You did a great job with the fence👍

Yes, very busy for ages I think!! The foam panels are floor mats. (www.bunnings.co.nz Search 0035633 )They provide a great 'bed' for the track. My idea was to cut along the sides of the track, giving the track some height, but it didnt look right and to get a consistantly wide, angled edge proved almost impossible, so I left it as is. The mats work great when setting out the track, you can just push track pins throught the holes in the track and straight into the foam. Trees, telegraph poles, etc. just get pushed in too! Once everthing is in place, pva helps to fix it all down. Also with the exrta height, its easy to cut away areas. I am working on a swimming hole next. The fence! thanks, that took me ages to make. I plan to make a video on how I made that one and another one on the layout. Cheers, Andy

@ we have them and our girls used them to dance on then it was the walking machine. I did not use them in the layout, I used Homosote on top of plywood. If i put it on the wood floor I would never find anything I drop 🤣
