Seen this dude in a different light. Highly sensitive and hyper aware of his look and I guess what other people think of him. If we all could just relax and realise it just doesn't matter. It seems the more we groom the more we also care about what others think. Tricky.

Yeah he’s definitely too hard on himself. I think grooming definitely has a place, but I’m not letting anyone dictate whether or not I should shave or trim. Sure, I would like my facial hair to be a certain way but it takes time and I’m happy with what I got right now.I’m gonna look the way I want to and not care about what anyone else thinks. This is my first experience with growing facial hair. When I was first growing out my hair and going through the awkward stages, I was met with some criticism saying I should shave it off. It’s kind of funny how uneducated some people are on facial hair.They think you grow it all in a day or something. I’m about 3 months in on my growing process. I regular shave my sides because they’re not as dense as my lip and chin. However that’s just a personal preference for my look. I’ve rocked this goatee and mustache for a couple months now and plan to just rock a Chevron mustache for a while as soon as my gap fills completely in. I want to sport one even though some people say mustaches are creepy or are for porn.

That's because there is more pressure for men to look good. It used to be a thing for us women now men have it equal. Society expects men to look better than they did 20 years ago. Look at male celebraties.

One side of the coin is the view of a common man "he is too hard on himself". The other side is "it keeps him on point of his game as a model". His image is a large part of his job/career/living. Of course he is much more self-conscious about his looks than what he 'should' be. The real question would be "when is it too much?" And I think Carlos is mature enough to not be consumed by his own looks.

I agree that the current beard looks better than previous . 2nd place handle bars..... I have done long beard for 3 years and I am starting to think it doesn't look that good.... Before I only did 2 months...and then shaved

That ´long beard = long face and looking old´ effect comes from combining it with a short hair cut. Together with long hair it would not be like that. But everyone suits himself and tries something out (hopefully). There is no right or wrong in hair and beard styles, just personal preferencene, right? ;D

Do u honestly think Carlos cares about you're opinion. Besides I have quite a skinny face(sharp jawline) and growing light or heavy stubble actually makes my jaw look even wider but it also softens up the sharpness.
