The last girl was right, she has a job that allows her to be who she wants to be and the world is changing. Her nose ring doesn't give her trouble so she doesn't need to do anything differently unless she wants to change her life. Good image advice is given based on what the client wants, not on the personal opinion of the image advisor. @leet hacker Purple boy was salty af and looks like they cut out some of what he said. The woman at the end was sending back the same energy that she was getting, because this was like getting advice from an out of touch boomer. "Your nails are too long, your nose ring is too much, that's too much makeup, blah blah"... It's all just opinion-based from an older era, and most likely from her modeling career where they wanted "natural" beauty, but normal people don't follow the same rules. We aren't mannequins and we are allowed to have our own style. She was mostly rating their style rather than their beauty, but at least she was giving them real examples of things they could change fairly easily if they wanted to appeal to the largest audience. I'm sure she would have rated a somebody who is a current model low if they had tattoos, and suggested that they had ruined their body/job opportunities because of that.

@leet hacker the guy made it about him personally and the girl made it about opinion and that’s that. She was there to receive an opinion so I understand why y’all may think it was rude, but at least all she did was state facts. She basically said “That’s your opinion, imma do what I do.” The other guy felt insecure about it and made it about him and his identity. He took it as her attacking him or telling him he shouldn’t like who he is. I don’t know that’s woman’s intentions and I’m not blaming either, I’m just saying what I saw.
@dashayoung74024 жыл бұрын
@leet hacker they were both insecure to an extent because they felt the need to say something about her opinion. However, there are obvious differences in what they felt was being attacked. I wasn’t saying “facts” like “haha fax 💯🤪.” But really all she did was say, “that’s your opinion, other people have the same ones and that’s your right but I wouldn’t work with you because that doesn’t align with me.” The guy seemed like was pissed she gave an opinion he didn’t like. Insecure maybe wasn’t the best word because it made it seem like I wasn’t thinking the girl was probably insecure too. The fact either of them said anything about it was telling, but they took different approaches and interpreted her words differently. To me, I saw the girl as dealing with someone who doesn’t have the same views as her, like she had dealt with before, and had already formed her opinion on the matter. To me, the guy got his feelings hurt, which is fair, the words were harsh and probably not expected to that extent. But the girl said how she wouldn’t work with people like her, not out of disrespect, but because she has the right to work in an environment that will be good for her. The guy took it as a disrespect to him and his fit and returned the disrespect he interpreted. That’s my take on it but I mean

I don't think they should have gotten upset, however her judgements on a few things were very biased with conservatism such as those views of "nose rings are unprofessional" and "glasses are ugly" etc. Those are very outdated and don't typically come into play with modern fashions and aesthetics, her other criticisms on things like confidence, figure, style, etc. were a lot more valid, but even with some of those her view was still a bit biased as she was judging from a pov of getting everyone to fit into one single standard of beauty instead of judging them with a unique lens that would suit them, for example, you wouldn't judge a someone with a punk style and fashion sense through an ulzzang lens, nor would you judge someone with a y2k fashion sense through a gothic lolita lens, if you get what i'm saying. Still, she gave very valid criticisms aside from the unfair conservative beauty biased things.
@naygimanji78104 жыл бұрын
@@venusharuna4187 although I understand what you’re saying, I feel like it misses the point entirely. The point is that it’s her opinion. It’s not fact. It’s bound to have bias. The fact that you’re trying to validate it makes no sense, saying that her remarks on confidence are more valid than her views on glasses and such as well as that her conservative beauty bias is unfair when it is literally an opinion. Each person is going to find certain people attractive. They have a single standard of beauty. Sometimes that standard has a big range and sometimes it’s narrow. If u don’t agree with her rating, that’s fine. Don’t take it to heart. Be confident in who you are no matter what. People will find you attractive. They didn’t have to be rude to her.

I was only pointing out certain biases and lapse in judgement, which I am also allowed to do. And no, saying that her remarks on confidence are different than her remarks on glasses is not invalid and it makes perfect sense, what on earth are you talking about? Confidence and glasses are two very different things, the idea that confidence is attractive is universal wheras the idea that glasses are unnattractive is very narrow minded and outdated, she didn't state it like an opinion, but moreso like a "that's how it is". @@venusharuna4187 Yeah I get what both of yall are saying. Though I think she has a point. Nose rings appeal to a certain RANGE of beauty... whereas given her experience it's likely on a higher range of normalized standards. She isn't saying THEY HAVE TO remove everything, but more so it would suit them move. Some may enjoy the feel of long nails, I know me and a lot of other individuals don't necessarily like long nails and that may differ. But similar to the culinary world I suppose it comes to down to a bit of some standardization. I agree with her...the glasses held back her beauty. Obviously she knows she needs them, but she is just critiquing the outside. Which is subjective... and I LOVE GLASSES especially as a big anime guy.but..... My wife is a good example too...she loved her thick glasses...but when I showed her that without her glasses she looks outstanding, and the sharpness and elegant of her eyes are more vivid...she took a step back but then after giving some thought she recently started to not wear them and agreed ...but it's like art...subjective overall I get what you're saying though and I also partly agree with it too. But I dont think it's that glasses are unattractive...but there are specific STYLES of glasses that are generally more suited for some individuals. But that's depends on the beholder... her views are usually more valuable than most as she had to learn the nuisances and emphasi on ones physiological composition to understand what may work for them most. And most of the time when I humble myself and listen to those who have this exp ... their range usually is very standardize in a good way, I've gotten compliments at work, from my wife, friends and even coworkers so it may seem bias but if you're open to change...its all good. @@sweettea3879 FOR REAL. It's sad to see how society has gone these days. Someone being sensitive, petty, and shady towards folks when they get their ego blasted are considered "queens", while REAL honest, classy, and brief individuals end up being considered "stuck-up" or rude in today's society. These people seem to have a serious inferiority complex and it's not a joke. Even after reading some of these comments, it's crazy how sheltered most of the people on here seem to be. If people actually saw this woman as rude, snobby, or stuck-up, then I wonder how they would react if they ACTUALLY saw rude, snobby, and stuck-up people. This woman was classy in a loving way. This video gives a good lesson, while also bringing out the trash in today's society in the process. I can understand being sensitive, but when folks get toxic without even being able to tell the difference between someone being rude, and someone who's just very brief and straight-forward, it shows how badly sheltered people actually are on social media. These be the same ones ironically preaching about diversity as If they know all about it but then have never decided to hang around a vastly different CULTURE in their life. The comment section also shows how many people are willing to lie to you just to "save" your emotions. I can't have these people as friends lol.

This idea of rephrasing what you mean to better cater to who you're speaking to is a cancerous mindset. We should seek to not be so defensive & understand what the other person is trying to communicate to us. We shouldn't expect others to cater their words to us & we shouldn't do it to others in return. It's a real sickness that's taking over everywhere. Good advice comes bluntly. If you put it in nicer words it doesn't have the same impact on the recipient. You can make the argument that some will receive the advice better in less blunt terms, but that's not a problem for the one giving the advice. That's a problem with the reciever.
