Note about (NOT) greasing the ball: if you’re towing a trailer - caravan with a stabilizer (which protects from swinging), the tow ball must be without grease. The stabilizer instructions even tell to remove any residual grease with a brake fluid… This is needed, as the stabilizer grips the ball with two friction pads.

That is a very good point! If you are pulling a Caravan with stabilization system, grease should not be used.

Great explanatory video! Could you please provide more details on the trailer itself - which made is it, how much cargo space does it have etc. I am looking for a similar trailer for long road trips that would provide much more cargo space for luggage

I have 2 more short questions. On your video i saw, It's simple to mount. But not clear for me . To get hitch preparation have to order for specific car? Or for every tesla model y from Berlin need to buy only hitch kit?.And where you got the specific hitch software for computer .Thanks

@@olam4u here in Sweden tow hitch is included as standard. When I bought it it was not though. So I ordered the kit from Tesla website and Tesla's mobile service came to me and mounted it. Took 20mins. Regarding the software Tesla service updates it when they mount the hitch.
