When I was 12 years old, 21 years ago. I thought I was the only kid building models lol. Wish there was youtube back then.

Fantastic!! Here in Newfoundland, Canada we typically say this is a real " Salt of the earth" type guy. Right from the Heart. He feels it and you can see that!! Really enjoyed watching as always but when you get a great character like this, who Leads the hobby in his area. In My Opinion. With people like this around? This hobby will never die!! lol Coming from an RC background.. I felt like running over and grabbing a model and start building while watching this video. lol There at the end talking tips and tricks was pretty cool. Specially the " foil" talk BIG thumbs up!! lol AND teaching kids to build models. WOW Somebody find this guy a TROPHY!!! he deserves it.. even though he probably wouldn't take it. Boy I tell ya it does the heart good knowing there are people like this around. . :) what a way to start my friday youtube session

I find it interesting that many modelers (of any genre) are also professional artists or creatives. Many model subject KZbin channels are created by professional artists, photographers, etc.

When l was 12 l thought l was the only one that used parts from other kits. My first funny car had a chassy made with toothpicks . I think that was actually my first kit a glow in the dark 68 Corvette.
