Do you have any recommendations as to where I can learn about quad topology? I still can’t seem to understand how to do it correctly and why it’s so important.

Topologyguides.com is a great resource. There's a ton of reasons why quad topo and good topo is important. For starters, quads can be split into Tris with one slice. And a triangle is always a flat surface. So the computer understands how to shade that shape. But also it knows how to handle quads for all types of operations. It's a huge subject but that's the gist.

Not really yet, but its coming. Theres a few prototypes that do (bad) 3d models already, and they'll get scarier as time goes on. I'd say I'm waiting on the AI ban, but it won't happen until most of human creativity has been crushed.

When I was tracing the knife? If you select an edge and whole holding control, you click, it extrudes to that point.

I'm still in the planning process. I think daily will scale back to weekly. Or twice a week. Daily builds are very time consuming and there's basically no monetary benefit right now (other than legacy Patreon supporters). I think doing one short per week coupled with the full length video exclusive to Patreon "uncut" might be the right call.
