Such an awesome tutorial. I've been working in healthcare for 10 years and now went back to school to pursue 3D modeling and animation. This is extremely helpful and getting me ahead of the class. Oh and also thanks for the jobrapido website for work hahaha.. Sorry couldn't help but notice the notification haha. Thanks again

Hi Mike, can you help me with something? I have tried many times to do that but nothing works. Im trying to make a curtain stay in place being held by holes on it. Like in Chloe Prices room curtain. Is there any way to do it?

hello,Mike. Do you know how to select every other edge(or face)? There was a script for maya 2015 or16. But i cant find something similar for 2017.

yeah my thing is whenever i do the extrude method. i don't get a clear edge like you do. mine is always curved and i don't know how to fix it.

Hi Mike, gret tutorial. I am having trouble rendering a movie in maya 2016. I know it is better to doit frame by frame....but I want to do an AVI and for some reason I can't find it in the render settings Please let me know how to put it in.

Yes, Mental Ray. I tried to use Maya Software but the result was very bad although it was a lot faster than rendering frame by frame with Mental Ray.

Mental Ray no longer supports batch rendering

Mike Hermes well then... looks like my laptop is weak. 51 mins in and only 28%. I may need to switch the lighting back to basic.

I love your work! so easy to follow along! After i finished school for digital animation 3 years ago, i havent really touched the programs since ( im stupid).
