MBK modelling special # 004 - DIY Zimmerit (demonstration by David Parker)

Zimmerit ... a broad topic, because on the one hand it gives the model an absolutely visual appreciation and great design options, on the other side it demands the modeler ... not only with the possibilities of already finished Zimmerit with its advantages and disadvantages but for true individualism and the best design possibilities, namely the self-application of Zimmerit to the model. This can sometimes be difficult and tedious and the patterns do not look the way you want them and you may not have any idea how to do it ...
Here is our video with the highly interesting demonstration of David Parker. In just 30 minutes, he shows on the one hand how to properly apply and thinning the putty and on the other with which tools you can quickly and easily represent four of the most common Zimmerit patterns on 1:35 models.

I’m interested how you would app,y the putty along side skirts etc but still leave the tool attachment points clear (the bit marked for removal on stickers/decal zimmerit sheets

Sorry,aber mir gefällt die Art des Zimmerit-Gemaches nicht.Ich nutze in der Regel Milliput und nehme Zimmerit-Roller oder Stempel.Das Gezeigte ist mir zu sehr unsauberes Gemehre,sorry.Sucht bei YT hier mal nach "Nightshift",der hats echt drauf!Aber trotzdem danke MBK,dass ihr sowas zeugt.Find ich gut.Lg

I agree, a few simple instructions and he would make video soo much watchable. Using centre focus would be a start.
