Modelling a hardsurface starship in Zbrush.

I used arraymesh for the main body of the ship and then added lots of details using nanomesh, zmodeler, and panel loops. The final render was done in iray.

So you started with. 1. a base, then you extruded from the base to create the under layers of the ship. 2. made a copy of the base, dynameshed it, then cut out select pieces to create the organic outer layers of the ship. 3. then you used zmodeler, sculpting, etc to finish it up?

Absolutely stunning! How did you do the greebling like that? It looked like you generated it on the surface from a library of existing tools. I am unaware of a function like that in zbrush

yea HOW.... That way is the easiest in getting the initial shapes from your brain. really need good yotube tutors for zbrush
