British Bren Gun Carrier / Universal Carrier "Forced Reconnaissance" (Tamiya 1/35 scale model kit)

British Universal Carrier, also known as the Bren Gun Carrier, from Tamiya. This 1/35 scale model kit has been released in a number of versions over the years, including a version for the desert campaign (1976), the European Campaign (1994), and this "Forced Reconnaissance" version (2001). This version includes three figures in European battledress, plus the figures in desert dress from the earlier version. You can find the kit here: amzn.to/370Fk7H
The kit is relatively small but care must be taken over the building and painting sequences due to the need to install the figures in the vehicle before closing the vehicle up.
I painted this using primary AK Real Colors, using British late war S.C.C 15 Olive Drab. Detail painting was done with Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics. Weathering was done using AK Interactive streaking grime and mud splatter effects.
