I got a modelones kit because of one of your videos. The brushes were a little long and took some getting used to but I did like the liquid and powders! I def want to try these colors now!

Appreciate your videos! I got one of this brand’s kits and watched a bunch of videos, but was still feeling intimidated. Got the pealy base coat so I could practice. Used a light pink so flaws wouldn’t show so bad. It turned out great! Lost one nail the next morning. Lost another when putting a ponytail in my hair. So I bit the bullet and dipped again, straight on nails with what I thought was dark purple. It was actually black. Love them! I am obsessed!! Thanks for your videos!

@@SipAndDip on natural nails two full layers I'm using sparkle in co brand I left it on 4 days still no lifting so I tried the file around the edges. The used nail stick to try to lift some came off in chunks but others really tour my nail up

What do you think about the apex dip powder method? I noticed you don't use it. Is there a reason why? I'm just starting out and trying to figure out what would be best

It’s going to vary for each person 🫶🏻 if someone has longer nails, flat nails or needing more strength then I would totally suggest it! However, to keep my videos short I skip it. If I were doing a manicure to last then I probably would do the apex! 💗 With my nails being longer and I’m really hard on my hands, I’d want the extra strength under my color

Nope! No cutting 🫶🏻 that is totally personal preference but I try not to. I’ve heard it can grow back thicker/more callused. I also feel like when I did then when I filed/buffed it caused more cuts and soreness. Just my personal experiences 💗
