If you take notice at the beginning the reflection of Jon, is Clement. So they're somehow linked at the beginning. The scene could imply that these two people are the mirror image of eachother. The same, but different. Perhaps Clement is the freer, more impulsive version of Jon, the version that allows Jon to get rid of his phone. Their antithesis is showcased in the short monologue Jon has while he's travelling with Clement. When Clement enter sthe pool (a reflective surface) and disappears, Jon follows, but exits without finding Clement. Perhaps Clement went back to his side of the looking glass, perhaps at that moment they swapped lives. That's what I'm getting.

Personal opinion: From the get go, it’s exploring themes of loneliness and depression. Him avoiding his phone call is an external representation of avoiding his "reality". In both the mirror scenes (main clue) both actors are a "reflection"of each other. He went for a drive and he met the version of him that was 'happier and more free'. In the last scene, Clement gives him his key, metaphorically meaning they are ONE. He even said: "I go where you go". The drowning scene is a representation of Kortajanera's state-of-mind. Irl, he’s drowning. Also.. it seems like he’s experiencing hallucinations.. which brings the creepy element to it. I love the message but it could have been done in a more straightforward approach. Although, that’s not the point. PS: South Europeans are the hottest IMO.

I think it's all in his head. If you notice the wineglass @6:37 they were two. then @7:29 it was really one. it only means that there was nobody there with JOn. so Clement was just a hallucination. Jon was lonely and depress at the beggining of the film, so he unconsciously made up a friend to talk to. It's like us when we are alone and just talking to ourselves.. . So Jon and Clement were the same person or Clement is Jon's ideal man/friend ( not so sure, it is open for interpretation which is actually the film maker wanted us to do)... nice short film! Bravo!
