Back with a bang Lads - please bring out some additional light designs for your Just Plug system which I love !

Do you have certain light designs you are interested in, so we can be specific in the request we pass on to Product Development?

Beautiful looking poles and wires and I do like the practical packaging. I'm building a WS Grand Valley kit now and I've paused the video and measured already for the first set. Will have to study some prototype pictures and do some figuring.

Glad you like them! We'd love to see photos when you're done installing them. Send them our way in an email to marketing@woodlandscenics.com :)

That is so much easier than I thought it would be. I have looked at these packages at Gilbert Hobby Shop in Gettysburg, PA. In the package it looks pretty complicated. In the video it looks simple.

Great product, great video! What kind of glue did you use to attach the wires?
@ModelSceneryExpert3 жыл бұрын
The instructions state "NOTE: We recommend using cyanoacrylate adhesive (CA glue/super glue)"

Can I get these in O gauge or were us O gaugers left out in the cold again.
@ModelSceneryExpert3 жыл бұрын
They are available for O, as well as N and HO.

How long is each set of poles/wires?
@ModelSceneryExpert3 жыл бұрын
They all have enough wire to model 80 scale feet between poles. However, the answer to your question varies. Which scale are you wanting to know?
@cslundsten3 жыл бұрын
@@ModelSceneryExpert Thanks. I'm in N-scale so that'll be some 60-ish cm of wire, right?
@ModelSceneryExpert3 жыл бұрын
N scale Crossbar Poles have 87 in (220 cm) of line on the spool.
@cslundsten3 жыл бұрын
@@ModelSceneryExpert Just to be clear: 220 cm for each of the 4 wires or 220 cm in total? The latter means that 4 poles will only go some 50-55 cm, which isn't much. I'm just trying to figure out how much to order for a test. If your system is good then it looks much easier than buiilding them manually, which I have been doing so far. But also rather expensive to build, say, a pole line along the mainline.

Our apologies. We looked to quickly and gave you the O scale measurement. N scale is actually 26 in (66 cm). We have an illustration on each item's page which includes all dimensions for the Utility System product. This may be very helpful to you as you decide what items will work for your layout, so we encourage you to take a look at those dimensions. See the N Scale Single Crossbar Poles at the link below for an example. Here is direct link to the webpage: woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/item/US2250 To see the illustration, click on right side of the product photo to advance the slideshow. Each line (wire) is up to 26” (66 cm) long. This length allows the poles to be spaced approximately 6” (15.2 cm), or 80 scale feet (24.3 scale meters) apart. This distance is based off of the prototypical spacing of utility poles and allows enough line to extend and attach to another set.
