I still don't get the germ paranoia. According to this logic kissing would be deadly. The only valid reason to not open bobby pins with teeth is because its bad for teeth enamel.

Oh my God!!! Guys, tell to this hairstylist that it’s very unprofessional to open bobby-pins with your mouth! It’s not a hygienic method for both client and stylist. Please use your hands.
