It looks so pretty! I like that you reform a lot of the curls an extra row back, sometimes when it's just the front row that looks nice and the rest a mess it can look unfinished. I think it's interesting that you can watch so many different people do a tutorial for the same hair style and they all have their different way of doing it! It's great because people learning can try them all till they find something that works for them!

The bangs or front is my challenge. I have short bangs yet I want the hair more on the front not up in the hairline. Yours is just right. I love how you rolled the right side of the front roll!! Toward the center roll!

I’ve just started researching 1950s hair styles and I was a bit disheartened because I have naturally curly hair. However you’ve inspired me and convinced me to give this look a try. I remember using something called “Spools”. They were pink, and you rolled your hair in them and they popped when you snapped them closed. Easy to sleep in too. You got a mean curl from them! ....LOL.... I think they worked like pin curls
