A quick update on the connector for the 1541-II for the modern C64 PSU.

2:44 look closer to this frame. In the original plug pins are slightly skewed counterclockwise from the top notch and the "new" plug is symmetrical. This is what I was talking about in previous video.

Hi Dave, I have found once around the metal edge with a Dremel sanding stone to put a very small chamfer on the outside works every time. I have done a number of these 👍

That is a good idea. If it is just 1/2 mm then it wouldn't take much.

sad to see that :/ maybe an sd card solution would be a good choice for you? loads very quickly like the ulimate II, kung fu flash ..

I've already got a BackBit. But I would like the floppy drive working for when I want to go old-skool.
