Gameloft should have carried on its MC series . It is the best story mode fps ever for phones.

I played this game more than over 10 years ago, after switching from my Nokia 7610 to iPhone 3Gs. Damn, I was so impressed that phone can handle 3D games with console quality graphics! Such a great time with great titles.

This was most likely the first mobile fps game I played (around mid 2012). I had a shitty android phone and remember having to wait excruciatingly long for it to download resources before I could play. Still it was impressive for the outdated phone that was practically falling apart to be able to run a 3D fps game. I can still remember the creepy hospital mission as I watch the video, probably because the creepy vibes and the dead body cutscene traumatized me a bit at the time. Later in 2012 I was given an iphone 4s which was leaps ahead in performance and user experience, so I quickly ditched this game for modern combat 2 and 3. But I still remember this game very fondly because having a proper fps experience on my phone meant I was able to play this in my bed at night without my parents knowing, it was much stealthier than PC gaming where the big glowing monitor would easily give me away. Nostalgia aside, this game existing in 2009 is in itself seriously impressive, considering even the state of the art smartphones had below 1GHz processor speeds, not to mention the abysmal memory capacities.

In these years phones had low storage, and ram, i used to play sandtorm and asphalt 5, were great memories, then asphalt 6 with modern combat 2 and finally asphalt 7 with Modern combat 3. Literally the gold era of gameloft.

The graphics looks like a ps1 and nintendo 64 generic Game, with any pixelations like a Game boy advance 3d game. For me it's better [graphics and gameplay] modern combat 2 black pegasus than this game.

On iOS you’d need to Jailbreak, though I haven’t even seen if that would work. For Android, you can just search for the game with “apk” at the end and you’ll find the app to download alongside the data files, from there you just need to drop the data files into the “Gameloft” folder on your phone and then install the game :) Some of the APKs don’t work though so it’s quite a trial and error to get one working
