Yep. It's 2024 and this is still the most beautiful intro ever written.

I remember first coming across this album, It was love at first sound. I remember sharing it with my friends and fellow musicians, most of whom were either confused because they didn't understand it or baffled by the fact they've never given this type of music a chance😂. Having received my first guitar at age 12, and now being 33, I've tried a wiiiiide variety of genres and types of music. Whatever genre or w.e.you want to label this as, this is it. There's nothing in music that I love more than listening to all of the emotions, stories, feelings, etc, coming from music with absolutely zero spoken words... I've tried countless times to fully explain this to non musicians. It's something that I don't think you can really comprehend unless you play an instrument, whether it be guitar, bass, drums, etc. It's something so different than just hearing vocals!! Give Intervals, Plini, Vitalism, Jason Richardson, just to name a few, a listen!!

Whenever this song starts, i always picture myself sitting out in some field, faaaar away from society in the middle of a moon-lit night. I imagine myself sitting there, doing a CE-5 meditation, (an actual meditation used to persuade extraterrestreals to reveal themselves) and after a bit, a ship becomes visible. Descending on my spot, and gently lands on the ground in front of me. And i meet them face to face.... Truely wonderful moment.

having listened to a LOT of djent just the last few hours here on KZbin, I can tell you how difficult it is to sound interesting in this genre. This has a LOT of interesting stuff going on in it both rhythmically (so many djent bands sound amazingly alike) and tonally. Well done. Also, your guitars were so beautiful, I had to check them out. Thanks for the URL.

You are absolutely correct. When I discovered djent, I found that there was a lot of potential, but very few artists were living up to it. That being said, this is amazing. I come to this video about once a month to remind myself not to lose faith in this style.

@RichieAnthonyGuitar10 жыл бұрын
TheStrayShot so the 550D is capable of that? what exactly creates that effect if you don't mind sharing? Very interested.
@Gagelocked10 жыл бұрын
Richie Anthony if I understand correctly it has to do with the frame rate and the frequency of vibration of the strings, I'm pretty sure you can find a more sciencey explaination but thats how I understand it :)
@jerryeversole38697 жыл бұрын
you also have to understand he is playing an 8 string guitar so those strings are very fat and loose, almost like a bass guitar so there is no denying a string vibration, shits tuned to drop satan

Makes me feel like I'm in a space ship from the middle to the end, and during the shredding, it's like I'm getting ganged up by enemy ships, and after that, my ship gets shot and damaged and is going down in the atmosphere of some planet and crashes.
