And Asians get -50 because they are disproportionately represented in Ivy League schools. In Seattle they did away with the gifted and talented program because it didn’t have enough brown and black students. They said it was discriminatory and so now no one gets to be in the program. And schools in California are doing away with Ds & Fs. And if a student doesn’t do their homework, the teacher isn’t allowed to give them a zero, because apparently it’s offensive to flunk a student. Yes, this is a grey area but I don't think firing a teacher from your school because they refuse to have a safe environment for their student is anywhere near what's happening in this video. Also, even if it wasn't in a moral grey area and Peter Vlaming was 100% in the right, his firing was met with a lot of backlash from students within the school and he managed to get a case against the school to court. I don't really see how that's any more than an extremely slight transgression against free speech. And honestly, I think it's completely reasonable to fire someone if they have views that are damaging a kid's learning environment.
