Little late but I have to say that it's the best sitcome I've ever seen and for me I don't think that any other sitcoms would make me laugh so hard the way modern family did, not even The Big Bang Theory which I enjoyed thoroughly as well and it's ending was actually better than the Modern Family.. Parenthood is a show you should definitely watch. It is also about a big multigenerational family that lives in California. It is on Hulu. There is also the remake of a show called Party of Five on Hulu. The original Party of Five used to be on Netflix, but they took it down. Both the remake and the original are great though.
