Hmm I think you’re right about Alex not deserving Bill, in a way. I love Alex’s character, but in the beginning of her relationship with Bill she was embarrassed of him which was unfair to Bill to say the least. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think it was a bit ironic, considering that in her early teen years she faced the same ordeal- if I remember correctly she used to think certain (popular) people were shallow and judgmental, and resented them for seeing only part of her and making fun of her being smart. Yet having been through that she treated Bill the same, a little objectifying, I should say.

Met quite a few firefighters in my life, brains is actually at the center of their job as the work with a ton of specialized gear, but because they have to go to the gym even more than many cops and soldiers it plays into the stereotype of being "meathead". Don't know about you but if I'm in a burning building I don't want some 90lb desk jockey going in after me if there's a well trained, hulking monster available. What I think is weird about this serie is: -Lilys voice is deeper than any child of the family even when she was kid ! - Haley face looks like a teen even if in the serie or in real life she was above 18 !! Moreover she looks like she has the same age as Alex (Ariel winters ) whereas in the serie and real life there are several years between them - Luke seem to be super young compare to Alex (especially from season 1 to 7) but in real life THEY HAVE THE EXACT SAME AGE !!
