ALEX AND BILL SHOULD HAVE BEEN ENDGAME. Alex deserved to be loved after being overlooked her whole life. Bill wasn't the smartest, but he was sweet and he cared for Alex. It was such an unexpected pairing, but it would have worked if it wasn't for the shitty writing.

u dont get it though, alex is imperfect, u see haley has alot of claire in her, she needs someone stupider then her to be with, now alex shes so smart, but hates to be outshinned but also wants a good conversation. she basically destined to nnever find the right person, while luke is very much like phil, but its like he has some weird thing to be taken care of hence his love of older women.

Out of all of Alex's boyfriends we've seen, Bill is definitely the best one but to be fair, there's not much competition. While I did like these two together (the archetype of a smart person with a dumb one; it's very funny), I don't think they were the best couple. Alex is smart and it's clear she wants someone smart to be her partner as well, she deserves that after all the years of being put aside! (and no, Arvin isn't the answer.... since he dated Haley. Alex deserved someone that was just for her)
