Ive known for years now that i would never make it in football and its pretty depressing so keep your head up and train hard. My advice, ask your coach or people at your club if they can put you in higher/more competitive games. That way your chances of being scouted increase. Its true getting scouted at you age is tough but id say until the age of 16 you still have a chance

Modern GK is just uploading content for social media clout and nothing more. I've seen more than just you exposing this fraud. On another note, my 15 year old GK has trained for one with with a D-1 goalkeeper at a local college. We have one more session before he goes back to England until July when we will pick up again. He has complemented my son's techniques and has really helped him improve. The great thing is, this guy is a freshman, so we should be able to train with him for the next few years.

I think that Modern Goalkeeping is too small (short) for an under 15's team, never mind a pro team. And that's not even considering the lack of skill. What kind of joke is this? Example: I'm 191cm (avg goalkeeper height, more towards smaller side) and had a very short semi-pro career because I wasn't skilled enough (too slow mostly), but I was more capable than that little guy.

They're all over 195cm with incredible speed and agility. The game changed a lot in the last 20 years - mostly because they balls got a lot lighter IMO.

@MrWARRIORMONKS that's not true. There are a handful of 5'11 GKs and up in the EPL. But that's just one league. There are several STARTERS across the professional leagues. I tend to agree that the modern game requires height (I'm 5'11" and played lower division in Scotland in the early 2000s), but there are plenty of exceptions. I have no idea how tall MGK is, but if he was 6'5" with his same skillset, he'd have difficulty as a pro. Height is not his problem here.

When I played as a GK, my keeper trainer (ex military) was the beeest, If I didn't get up and set within half a second of hitting the ground I had to do 10 pushups. if I conceded a goal, even one I wasn't going to get, I had to do 10 pushups, If I was out of position I had to do 10 pushups, basically, if I did anything wrong at all, no matter how small, I had pushups coming my way. And it really showed in games, Ive had many times where I had been pummeled by shots at goal but was still able to keep going because of the training I had
