Well taught. I use the middle and front bead alignment to make sure I am holding my over and under true then look only at the target when shooting.

I like this Roger. It's one less thing to think about, and it seemsit would be much more natural. I'll definitely try it, but probably with just a little higher hold.

when I watch all your films, and I have also watched many films by other shotgun instructors, I generally miss the reference to the shooter that body and mind are the basis for being successful, why is it not pointed out that discipline and drill and strength are absolutely necessary to be a good shooter ? the technique of the weapon or the technique of shooting is pointed out, or the technique you can buy to hit better, but what you can develop yourself is never mentioned, it's just too uncomfortable or unwelcome to hear, Or why not told ? Drill, discipline, power you have to work hard on it but never told in these films….

Old Farmer...good to hear from you... what you say is very true and as i get older i am now needing to build up the strength in my arms by using weights. You are very wise and shooting is not meant to be fun when we are on the layout... it is all about discipline and concentration. You have made some very wise points...good on you...thank you for watching......much appreciated...stay well and happy shooting !!!
