That was a nice and peaceful road trip; except for the multiple minutes of back and forth buddy-banter-bull-shite. That started gettin' old in about 5. Not at all old Top Gear or new Grand Tour worthy at this point. Potentially new Top Gear worthy, maybe.

Sound is subjective and can be altered via cam in both challenger and Camaro to which sound much better than any mustang in my opinion 5.2. Also the man has a point both challenger and Camaro will out 60 ft and 1/8 the mustang having more weight in the challengers case or having less power in the Camaros case due to the mustangs 4 valve capped on cubes reliant on high revs to get power while 2 valve designs are the opposite. Of course these issues can be corrected with after market modification however the gt500 is the newest and was encrypted especially for the trans tuning and tcm which I believe was figured out this year because the DCT launches like shit and it’s relatively new.

Thats why they're flying off dealerships right? Thats why Ford and Chevy are making more muscle cars and giving the "Green movement" the finger... Ok, so they're not economy cars. What was their actual mpg? I'm just curious. As for electrics, battery tech is going to have to get a lot better than what it is now, and the charging infrastructure is nowhere what it needs to be yet. Of course, they're working on that. I have to wonder if they've considered what the cost of electricity is going to do when everyone if driving fully electric vehicles? And is the coast of electricity going to be uniform throughout, or are they going to separate what we pay at the "pump," so to speak, and what we pay to light and cool our homes? I'm thinking they're also going to have to do a lot more than simply install charging stations. The entire electrical grid is going to have to be significantly updated too. That grid is working very near it's limits in some places just trying to run everyone's air conditioning. It's not going to handle everyone fast charging their cars overnight too.

For a long drive I’d have to go with the Charger/Challenger. From experience yes the ZL1 has magna ride but it’s still noticeably stiffer than those. Gt500 is about in between

We love the Corvette, but it competes at a level higher than these cars - more akin to a Porsche 911 - and, with only two seats and a mid-engine layout is a through-and-through sports car. The three featured here are high-performance versions of classic muscle, with four seats and engines in front.
