In my late 50s and first time I ever heard of Modern Parisian. I'm currently a very mid-century Modern minimalist but I absolutely LOVE Modern Parisian. What a beautiful, elegant and timeless style!

I love this style done in a less opulent way. That’s hard to explain because it’s an opulent style. To me it looks great in a smallish apartment in the city rather than in a very large home. I guess I like cozy modern Parisian!

Very striking. I have seen this style and many examples of it on live like a French girl media. Painting the wood white not only protects it but helps light catch all the beautiful details in the molding. You look beautiful Rebecca

I designed my house in 2017 to be decorated in Modern Parisian. So, I designed every square inch of the house and handed it to my architect, and worked closely with the builder to choose every single tike, wooden floors, doors, marble and gravure counter tops, faucets, etc. I bought all the interior and exterior lighting, and made sure the house looked as if it was 500+ years olf, and that I have modernized it. I even designed from scratch every cabinetry and handed the drawings to the cabinet fabricator. I was lucky my husband didn't care, as long as I designed him a large garage. It was fun. Yes I love modern Parisian, but I didn't do it as a trend, I did it because I travel a lot, and I love the history that goes into these heirloom family homes that are hundreds of years old! Great show by the way - ice been a fan from your very first shows, when hardly anyone else had interior design channels on YT. Congratulations for staying STEADY and STRONG!!! 🌷👍🏼👍🏼

I love this episode of your series! I decorated my home in Modern Parisian 5 years ago when I left my French Chateau apartment in L.A. where I bought lots of French antiques and moved to the east coast. I couldn't give up my priceless antiques, but I wanted to mix modern, and voila! Modern Parisian. Like you said, it's elegant, yet modern, and it surprises many who are new to it.

I love Modern Parisian, especially when it juxtaposes the very modern (contemporary) furnishings with beautiful moldings and modern art and flowers. That tension is so interesting to me. The I.M. Pei glass pyramid gracing the Louvre courtyard really is the most sublime architecture. It symbolizes Modern Parisian for me.

FINALLY, a name to the look I like! I took your quiz and thought, " I'm just all over the place". 🤪 I liked modern clean lines BUT I'm in love with high ceilings with intricate ceiling medallions and applied molding🥰🥰. I just want a room with CHARACTER, not a plain square box😫! I liked to be able to add-in curated / vintage items as well as oversized wall art installations. Well, I never heard about Modern Parisian before but when I saw the elements that used to decorate, I figured out what my dad had done in our house 43 years ago😂 Our house in Egypt was mixed between Italian, French, and modern! I will let you imagine what it looks like. I grew up, and loved every inch of it I always felt it was special❤

This is new to me too. I like some of the elements very much but I don’t like so much white. Basically I go with things that either mean something to me or just make me go “oooh”. Somehow it works for me. In my old age, I find that coziness and comfort are important to me and I want it to say, “I’m so glad you’re here. Come and sit awhile and let’s catch up”.

I love modern parisian, although I've never heard it called by that before. I've always gravitated towards Paris design fashions. The opulence & charm it ads to a space is magical. We gung a chandelier in our gazebo over metal table & chairs. I hadn't thought of it before, but I think it definitely lends itself to this style! Love it!
